Grett O’Connor is a communications consultant, documentary/film producer, presenter, and writer. A TV and radio journalist with TG4 and RTE for twenty years, she previously worked as a print journalist at The Kerryman and as a press officer in Leinster House.

The holder of master’s degrees in Journalism (DCU) and in Personal/Management Coaching (UCC), Grett set up her own business ‘My Media’ in 2019. She has produced four television documentaries for TG4, one documentary for Virgin Media 1 and a short film about partner abuse and coercive control. This film is currently the focus of a social media campaign (#wewillbelieveyou) on behalf of frontline agencies supporting Kerry victims of domestic abuse.

She also regularly delivers media and communications training to public and private sector clients including the HSE, UCC and the CSO. She and her husband Ger have five children and live on their dairy farm near Macroom, County Cork.
