Gillian was appointed Chairperson of the it@cork industry-led technology cluster in 2021 and is a member of the Board for 6 years. In an MOU announced last year, it@Cork and KerrySciTech have come together to form the Tech Industry Alliance (TIA). With over 250 member companies, the cluster aims to scale the South-West’s technology and business ecosystem through connection, collaboration, advocacy and talented people. Gillian has over 30 years’ business experience in the tech industry, having spent many years as a software developer, program manager and in strategy and operations. Today, she specialises in Business Transformation, specifically in the areas of change management and change leadership.

Gillian’s passion lies in the intersection of people, process and technology, putting people at the heart of how we work, learn and drive change. She is an advocate of the growth mindset, conscious leadership and the curious mind. She holds a undergraduate degree in Economics and Computer Science, a Post Grad in Accounting and Management Information Systems, a Masters in Data Business and a CPD in Business Innovation & Digital Transformation. She is a member of multiple regional strategy working groups and co-leads the Transformation Think Tank for Business Transformation leaders in the region.
