Brian P. Sugrue is a Vice President with AB Bernstein, a global
investment management and research firm with more than
$550Bn in assets under management. He specializes in advising
Family Office clients in United States and Europe. This includes
investment strategy and implementation, mergers and
acquisitions, multi-jurisdictional asset management, philanthropy,
and intergenerational family dynamics. Brian joined Bernstein in
2016, and is based in Boston.
Prior to his Bernstein, Brian was a Director with the Boston 2024
Olympic Partnership, leading the city’s bid to host the Summer
Olympic Games. Previously, he served as Assistant Vice President
and investment analyst with Granahan Investment Management.
Brian has a BBL in finance and law from University College Dublin,
Ireland, and an MA in behavioral economics and psychology from Harvard University. He is a member of
the CFA Society of Boston, and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
In addition to his work at Bernstein, Brian serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Irish
International Immigrant Center in Boston, the Advisory Board of the Self Help Africa nonprofit, and with
the American Ireland Funds.
